Sebastian winked at Blaine with a smile on his face as he pulled out a set of car keys. “They’re Hunter’s keys,” he stated. He wanted Blaine to know that Hunter wasn’t that bad of a guy. Yea Hunter was a hard ass and he never slouched. Sebastian had learned long ago that it was how Hunter was raised, being an army brat and all. It definitely took some time for him to warm up to their new leader, since Sebastian was the exact opposite of Hunter but once he did he became quick friends with him. Both Blaine and Hunter were his best friends now and he couldn’t be happier. “You didn’t think he was that much of an ass that Hunter would let you walk all the way back to Mckinley high, did you?” He asked with a teasing smirk. Classic Sebastian. “The trip is two hours by car who knows how long it would be by foot.” he smiled and pulled Blaine along, loving the way Blaine squeezed his hand. It felt right. It felt good. Just like when he held Hunter’s hand only slightly different. When he held Blaine he felt like the dominant one, he felt like Blaine’s protector and he loved that feeling. When he was with Hunter it was the exact opposite. Who knew that a simple holding hands could make you feel so different when done by two people.

“Come on, Killer. Left Left left Right Left..” he sang a cliche military song followed by a hard spank that landed on Blaine’s plump behind. “Hunter let me borrow his car for the afternoon so what do you say to you and me having an afternoon with me? You left Dalton before I could woo you.” he smirked as he raised Blaine’s hand and placed a kiss on the top of his hand. “What do you say?” He asked as he looked up at Blaine, his lips still brushing on Blaine’s hand as his green eyes looked up at the boy with mirth.

“Just take me back to my house.  It’s less out of the way.  I don’t think Hunter’s going to want his car gone for most of the day.  I can get someone to drive me back to my car over the weekend. Lucky me,” he sighed looking down between them at their hands as he squeezed Sebastian’s, “Your leader decided to kidnap me on a Friday.”  His mother was going to hit the roof but it wouldn’t be the first time he came home with an equally weird excuse why he was late.  Probably wouldn’t be that last.  Lately, his life was running on strange and it didn’t seem like it was going to change any time soon. Leave making his return home for the people who stole him more convenient, too.  Why?  Blaine was wired that way. Sometimes he wished he wasn’t.  That he could open his mouth and say what normal people who were abducted and carted to a private school to be given the ultimatum from hell might. Normal people?  Back up. This didn’t happen to normal people did it?  Only him. Only in his life. When the hell did everything start to get so weird?

Blaine jumped with the slap to his behind gawking up at Sebastian with a blush and a gaping mouth.  “Did you just talk about wooing me properly and then spank me?”  Did Sebastian think he was into that?  Psh!  As if!  Why was he so red?  Oh hell.  Time to look at anything else in the room that wasn’t Seb.  The ceiling, the floor or.. Straight ahead was good? ”I think you’re hanging out with that Hunter guy too much, Seb.”  Blaine spies out of the corner of his eye something beginning with Seb’s jawline.  Eye contact just yet?  How about no? He squeezed Seb’s hand trying to prove he was half joking.  Seb kissing the back of his hand made him stutter through his answer.  “I-I say,” he rolled his eyes laughing nervously, “We get out of here first?  I’m expecting bars to come crashing down over the doors right as I’m about to leave.”

Emmett listened to the younger male attentively as he worked on polishing glasses. He knew too well what he was going through he felt it with Drew and now with Ted, it wasn’t a good feeling. He let him talk for a little while before responding. He gave him a sympathetic look. “Well have you try maybe going to him. Sometimes a surprise visit and a lovely gift could help mend things. He suggested or you could make him something that might be more special maybe write him a song.” He suggested as he remembered Blaine’s mention of their connection with music. “ He looked over at him. “Well why don’t I drive you home, hun? It’s getting pretty late.” He offered.

"I’m not sure if that’s a good idea.  I mean, he won’t even reply to a text message.”  God, he wanted to.  Even thought about it.  Then his nerves would get the best of him and he’d tell himself it was one of the worst things he could do if he wanted to get Kurt to listen.  Knowing him like he did?  Every sign said he wanted to be alone.  Blaine was doing a so-so job listening because he’d end up not able to think or sleep until he gave it another shot.  He was trying so damn hard that he knew it was part of the problem.  If he didn’t rein it in? He was only going to push Kurt away further.  It just wasn’t in him to give up. Not yet.  Home?  He wasn’t done yet.  Not with a head full of thoughts that the alcohol didn’t succeed in drowning.  Some of them really knew how to swim. Emmett was right though.  Hours flew by.  In hindsight?  More of them were spent rambling.  Plus side?  No hangover.  Downside?  Still thinking. Relenting with a groan, Blaine slid off his chair and lifted both hands.  “Sure.. Thanks, Emmett,” he smiled gratefully, “and thanks for putting up with my problems. You could have told me to shut up. I wouldn’t have blamed you.”

Hunter shook his head with a crooked grin. “Well it seems like that little public school robbed you of your fighting spirit. You certainly aren’t behaving like I expected. Except for that right hook. I must say that was very sexy,” Hunter grinned. “That is the Blaine that I heard about. The man who led the Warblers vocally about two years ago, almost making it to nationals.” He cocked his head to the side. “You still have brothers here from that time.” He turned to point to them. “I believe you know Nick, Jeff, Trent and Thad.” He smiled at his brother as they all greeted Blaine with smiles and nods of their heads. “As I said, all of us, no matter our economic backgrounds have a chance of getting full scholarships to college if we win. Some need it more than others.” He let it stick, reminding Blaine that Trent was one of the boys was attending Dalton on a scholarship. “We’ll leave you to your thoughts then, brother,” he nodded at Blaine, not wanting to push him further. “Come on gentleman, Sectionals are coming up and we need to bring our A-Game if we are going to destroy Vocal Adrenaline and the Who-sits.” He gave Blaine yet another wink and turned around in a style that was seen on a soldier. He moved with precision and a manly grace as he walked through the crowd and stood in the center. “Sebastian please show our brother to the door so that he may take whatever time he needs to think things over.”

Sebastian nodded, loving the authoritative way that Hunter spoke. It made him want to send all the boys away and do things with his leader. He quickly shook his head and placed an arm over Blaine’s shoulders. Though they didn’t see each other much Sebastian considered Blaine of his his best friends. “Come on, Buddy,” he spoke as he led Blaine out of the Senior common rooms so that the boys could begin to practice. “That was quite a punch you gave Hunter,” he smirked as he patted Blaine’s back. “I must admit more than a few of us longed to do what you did,” He smiled and dropped his arm from Blaine’s shoulder and took a hold of his hand. It wasn’t meant in a sexual way, he just enjoyed walking hand in hand with Blaine. It gave him comfort knowing that Blaine still cared for him, especially after he mistakenly hurt him last year with the rock salt slushie. “He means well though, even if he comes out arogant. He really is trying to perfect us and he has plans to get us all scholarships to any University of our choice. All of us. We just need you to add to our already strong team.” He stopped when he reached the entrance and placed a kiss on Blaine’s cheek. “Please think about it, Killer.” He winked in a playful manner. “I’ve been meaning to get you back hear. I still think you are sex on a stick who sings like a dream.”

What?  Blaine glared at the comment on how his ‘fighting spirit’ must’ve been robbed by McKinley.  Hunter didn’t know him from Adam, other than what was said to him by the other Warblers in the room that knew Blaine better than he ever would.  He’d laid out his heart and soul to a few during late night conversations shared in dormitory hallways or through song.  It was those boys that caught his eye when Hunter pointed. A deep building guilt planted a seed in his belly already and now it was just getting bigger.  Trent’s and his eyes met.  Blaine had to look away.  “You don’t need to remind me,” he spoke calmly looking directly back at Hunter and purposefully avoiding eye contact with the others.  “I know what some of them need.  I said give me a chance to think on it.  You can’t expect me to,” he stopped abruptly.  Cut off by Hunter gathering the Warblers together after shooting him a smarmy ass smirk of a wink that Blaine rolled his eyes at.  The way Hunter turned around made the former Warbler wonder if he was right in the head. Dalton wasn’t the Army but this guy apparently didn’t seem to get the memo. It made him cringe internally to see everyone else fall in line behind him.  Taking a wary look at each one, Blaine couldn’t stop his heart dropping in his chest seeing how they looked now when he remembered his Warblers so differently. When they fell in synch with a natural bond that tied them together in true brotherhood, not by chains of whatever version it became under Hunter’s watch.

Sebastian jerked him out of his thoughts by slinging an arm around his shoulders.  A stunned expression dropped his mouth open as he looked up at the taller boy.  “Yeah..  Coming.”  One final look around Sebastian’s arm to the room behind and they were gone.  Outside in the hall, caramel eyes were drawn between him and Sebastian as their fingers were laced together.  Blaine gave Sebastian’s hand a squeeze and brushed his thumb over the side of his hand.  “Trust me.  I didn’t do it on purpose but I don’t feel too much guilt either.  What in the hell was that, Seb?  Means well?  Are you sure about that,” questions kept coming now that they were alone.  Sebastian’s hand received another gentle squeeze when he kissed Blaine’s cheek.  “I’ll think on it.  That’s all I can promise.”  Long lashes dropped to veil a set of eyes that scrunched together due to an embarrassed smile he aimed to the side. Sex on a stick who sings like a dream.  Leave it to Sebastian to curb his mood the way he was best at.  Not that Blaine minded. He was grateful for the break from the tension he knew would come back soon enough.  Thumbing over his shoulder to keep the mood ‘light’ Blaine rolled his lips together, blinking inquisitively. “Hey?  Are you going to let me use your phone?  Or drive me back to my car?  Your brothers didn’t really let me drive and my phone is in my bag on the floor of the locker room at McKinley,” he lightly elbowed him trying to smile.  He almost made it.  There was a hope Sebastian would pick the second option.  They needed to talk.  If not talk?  Catch up.  Blaine wasn’t ready to go home and stew over yet one more thing added to the already too damn long list of things to he already had.

clarington-the-hunt:

Hunter was shocked momentarily when Blaine’s fist made contact with his jaw. The little shrimp could pack a punch and then some. Hunter laughed through the pain though. He welcomed it. He was used to it. He had trained his body to overcome pain, days, weeks, months of training his body to perfection didn’t fail him. He held his jaw and smiled as Blaine went on and on about not needing The Warblers and how things changed and blah blah blah. He listened wanting nothing more than to return the punch. His father’s voice yelled in his head about taking out an enemy was pushing him forward and yet he didn’t move.

Behind him Sebastian mouthed ‘I’m sorry,” to Blaine the moment that he looked at him. Sebastian hated what was going on and yet he wanted Blaine back. he was still in love with him and he hoped that he might get a chance to win him over if he helped Hunter. By the looks of it he could tell he fucked up. He looked at Hunter and sighed. Fuck. He would go along with whatever he asked him to. Sebastian was a man in love with two men. To different men at that.

“Are you done?” Hunter asked as he looked at the now unbound boy. “You can go if you want Blaine Anderson, heck the doors are right there. Walk out those doors and you won’t have to worry about us bringing you back here. As I said, we did this for you. True I have my ulterior motives, we need your good boy appearance and sexy voice to help us win nationals but that’s not the only reason.” He shrugged. “I am the kind of kind that likes to win and I will do anything I can to do it. No matter who I have to step on to do it. Unless you are a brother. If we win nationals this year we all get full scholarships to any university we want. The Alums will pay for it. Just because you left doesn’t mean that you are no longer our brother. “He walked toward Blaine. step by step until he was inches away from him. He cracked his knuckles, ready to strike but he held back. “Now make your decision. Stay or leave just know that you are passing up the opportunity of a lifetime. So what is it going to be. A future of success or a future of you and your little friends having yet another bake sale to raise money for a cheap bus?”

Did it for him?  Blaine’s fingers wiggled at his side trying to shake of the last of the pain throbbing in his knuckles thanks to Hunter’s jaw.  A warm tingle moved up his wrist from the ache and he gave paying attention to the sensation instead of the bated breaths and worried stares.  “I don’t remember asking you for any favors and if you think this is one that I needed? Then you’re wrong.” Hunters reasons for wanting him back were no real surprise.  Blaine didn’t figure he came looking for him because he was lacking in the friends department.  There were over a dozen boys in the room that could fill that bill with or without wanting to.

An unimpressed stare was Blaine’s reply.  “Trust me.  I can see that you’re willing to do whatever you have to,” he said flatly balling his hand into a fist again but this time it was shoved into his pocket.  “What I don’t understand is you thinking you have to ruin something so good to make it better.” Sebastian mouthing that he was sorry?  Blaine did a subtle double take and shook his head.  There wasn’t any need.  They would be talking later.

“Why would I want watch you do it?”  He didn’t need the scholarship but knew there were boys here who did.  Sons of parents working there for discount tuition.  Two stood less than ten feet away.  They battled through tests, show choir and a billion other activities in hopes of getting what winning offered freely.  A crack of knuckles drew his gaze to Hunter’s hands and Blaine’s came out of his pockets.  The first punch was a mistake.  Doing it a second time would take a hell of a lot of prodding but just in case.  He heard one of the boys groan.  Hunter’s prodding pinned him into making a decision that should be so easy.  McKinley was where his heart was. Remember?  But it wasn’t there anymore.  The kids there needed him. Even if they didn’t act like it sometimes.  Dalton was a ghost of a memory on pages in a book he was chapters past.  A wonderful part of his story that he returned to in memories. Blaine licked his lips and rubbed his neck.  His decision should’ve been easy. Without doubt. Doubt?  He hated himself for only standing there instead of walking out the door.  Narrow eyes stayed on Hunter’s.  “I..,” he coughed and it looked painful.  “I..  Can I think about this?”  A deflated feeling collapsed his chest and stomach.  Did he say that?

“Planet Earth and I seem to recall a little phrase that goes a little something like this, “An eye for and eye, a tooth for a tooth.” He winked at the boy who has seemed to finally found his sea legs. “You and that wide mouthed boy had the gall to slither into our sanctuary and steal back the trophy that was rightfully ours. Dressed as a couple of made up superheroes no less,” he laughed, a few of the newer Warblers joined in. “You see the thing is Blaine, no matter where you go you will always be A Warbler. You can run after puppy love and enter their little island of mismate toys, but you can never change who you are. You were created for greater things, Blaine Anderson. Which is why I had you brought here. Heck, I rescued you.” Hunter stood up straight and snapped his fingers as a signal to free Blaine of his bounds. “You have a choice to make Blaine Anderson.” He turned to face the boy who was being released from the ropes the bound his hands together. “You can run away and turn your back on your brothers again, who you abandoned already when you chased after Kurt who you then cheated on. Or you can start a new life, a life that doesn’t end the moment that you graduate Dalton Academy but a life that will continue there after. A life of success, money, sex, and love. So what will your choice be, Brother?”

Hunter and the few Warblers who he didn’t know laughing at him only made him angrier.  “Rescued me,” he mumbled, chin tucking down and an eyebrow crinkling.  “Seriously?”  The question was rhetorical and mostly to himself. Once again, Blaine’s head shook in disbelief.  A choice? The Warblers who approached were the new victims of Blaine’s hawkish stare. Even privy to a snarkishly grunted, “Thanks,” as they untied his hands.  Instead of immediately looking back at Hunter, Blaine sought out someone else. Sebastian.  Who received a totally different look.  Blaine’s face softened like he couldn’t believe Seb would be in the same room with these people. None of his Warblers should be.  Yet..they all were.  Snatching the rope roughly from the boy that finally untied it Blaine threw it down and hurried to his feet stalking towards Hunter and stopping less than a step away.  His head spun but Kurt being brought up?  The last of his resolve to keep somewhat calm snapped.  Blaine didn’t realize he made a fist until it landed a punch to Hunter’s jaw so hard that he preferred the explosion of pain in his temple to how bad his hand hurt on the backswing. Probably not the best thing to throw at him if Hunter was trying to get on his good side. He blinked right after.  Shocked at himself and that he was brought that breaking point but it’d been a downhill run since the second he was snatched, bound and knocked the hell out.  Then brought here for what?  Just to see something so important, a place he loved being brought to even bigger pieces of rubble at the hands of this jerk.  “What gives you the slightest idea I’d want to be here?” Blaine wished he sounded more convicted. Or that he could’ve kept Hunter’s gaze on lock. Which he didn’t. Instead?  He glanced at the floor then to the crowd watching and waiting for his response. All eyes on him. “I don’t recognize this place after what you did to it.”  A shoddy lie from someone who could never pull one off.  He did recognize it.  Too well. Always would.  Some of the boys were holding their breath, ones he didn’t know smirked and some looked lost hinging on what was about to go down. Breathing deep, his jaw flinched as soon as his and Hunter’s eyes met. “You sound so convinced my life will end after McKinley.” The fakely broad smile he plastered on was carefully maintained. “So?  I’m not. I don’t–This isn’t home anymore,” he shook his head refusing to back down. The blazer hanging from the side of the chair next to his bed begged to tell a different tale but it was biased.  “Go to hell, Clarington. I’m leaving.  Stay away from me and my school.  Got it?”

clarington-the-hunt:

Hunter was busy giving the boys their weekly steroid shots when through the doors of the Senior common room burst open announcing the return of Ethan and Jasper. turning to Nick he gave the boy a hard spank and sent him away. Nick walked into the warm embrace of his long time boyfriend Jeff and looked upon the scene with shock. All at once the boys that knew Blaine before his departure made their distaste unknown. “Hunter you said he wasn’t going to be hurt.” “Is he okay?” “Why is he unconscious?” Hunter gnawed his teeth and yelled. “Shut Up!! I never asked them to hit him across the head.” He turned to the boys in question and glared at them. “Why is he knocked out?” Once the boys explained that it was the only way to gain control over the unruly boy did he nod. “You see it had to be done. I will have no more bad mouthing me or my decision. I needed to get him here and everything will be explained afterwards.” At once the boys shut their mouths, they knew better than to mess with their leader. “Sebastian warm them up. We will be working out our thighs today gentleman. There is no way that we will lose to the losers at Mckinley this year. Not while I am in charge.” He walked toward Blaine when he realized the the boy was coming into consciousness. He chuckled lightly at the boy as he tried to sit up. He looked like a baby deer trying to walk. “Welcome back Brother.” he smiled as he bent down to greet Blaine.

Blaine could recognize the smell of the room long before it registered in his dazed senses where he was.  Past the shoes of the person approaching him. Old wood polish, books and an unmistakable earthy scent ingrained into every nook and cranny of the building he once loved to call home.  Dalton.  You’ve got to be kidding—  No.  No one was kidding him.  What was happening was as real as the binds around his wrists and the metallic taste he continued to swallow making him sick.  A foreign chuckle and the knowledge of where he was flattened his scrunched together in shock beyond words features.  Blaine’s slack mouth clamped shut and his eyes narrowed. His own style of a death stare shot through a set of thick lashes landed directly on the figure crouching in front of him.  Mixed in with anger and the traces of fear and humiliation at being kidnapped out of McKinley’s locker room by these people?  Was an ache building in his heart seeing, yet again, what a place that was once his sanctuary and a room full of ‘brothers’ he began to tune into standing in the background watching this all happen became in such a short time.  “Don’t you brother me.  I’m not your brother.” Twisting his wrists against the rope hard enough to make his skin turn white til he stopped and thought better, Blaine grunted and ignored how badly his head spun forcing himself to focus and get up!  Especially with Hunter this close. The heels of his palms were shoved hard against the floor allowing him to push himself backwards to get some space away from the psychopath not really going far until he bumped against a chair. A dead halt that worked to his advantage because at last he had something to use to plaster himself against and sit instead of lay there.  Venom laced the words he spat.  “What the hell is your end game, Clarington?  You can’t just KIDNAP people to get them to listen to you,” his eyes went round as saucers, “It doesn’t work like that!”  Then fell into a boiling glare and he growled through gritted teeth, “What PLANET do you think you’re on?!”
