Blaine’s restless night inside an eerily quiet room ended with him quietly wandering the massive lobby and finally to the empty bar where a piano sat like it’d been waiting to be found. A soft melody filled the silence and time began to feel like it was standing still. Until a voice from nowhere brought him to an abrupt halt.
His fingers sharply lifted but hovered only inches away from the keys as hazel eyes blinked at the voice. Looking up, he smiled and let his fingers curl loosely towards his palms lowering them into his lap. “I don’t? I–ah–haven’t noticed many people who would be at all. You’re the first person I’ve seen down here.”
“Blaine,” a warm smile followed his name, “A pleasure to meet you–?”
