philip slid his phone back into his pocket, smile curling onto his lips as he rocked on his heels– just a bit of nervous energy. if he was fazed by the question, he made sure to hide it well. his shoulders moved up to meet his ears for a moment before falling back down to their typical position. “your face is full of expression and you’re attractive, so i thought you’d be a good model for this project.”
Blaine blinked at the blunt answer and laughed softly He was flattered, curious and unsure of what to say next other than. “Thank you. That was kind of you to say.” With a palm rubbing the back of his neck–the Warbler bowed his head and tugged the corner of his mouth into a lopsided grin. “I promise I’ll do my best not to make you regret your choice. Hey? I have to go to practice soon. Would you like to see the choir room? I might be biased but I think it’s the most beautiful room inside Dalton. A bold statement considering they all are, I know. You can be the judge, if you like? Maybe it’ll help with ideas or inspiration? He thumbed over his shoulder towards the hall. “You’re more than welcome to join me/”
"i’d like to take some pictures at day and night, if that’s alright. but my schedule is open.“ philip rubbed the back of his neck with a soft laugh before pulling his phone out. “it’d probably be better to coordinate if we had each other’s numbers…” he offered, before turning out the phone toward the other boy. “if you don’t mind, of course.“
“Sure. Both are fine. Oh,” Blaine promptly realized he never offered any sort of way to get in contact with him. Quiet laughter turned into a lopsided grin. “I almost forgot.” Taking the phone, he punched his number in and sent himself a text with Philip’s name. “There we go.” Seconds later, there was a buzz from his pocket and offered Philip his phone back. “Can I ask you something,” Blaine tilted his head bewilderedly, “I’m puzzled… Why’d you pick me?”
his fingers tapped on the camera in his hands as he smiled at the flustered boy in front of him. “i’m philip. and you’re welcome. we can take the pictures whenever you’re free. i have until the end of the month to complete the project.”
Hazel eyes glanced down at Philip’s tapping fingers. Blaine couldn’t help noticing the equipment and gave it a curious eye. “Pleasure to meet you, Philip. Nice camera, by the way.” Meeting the other boy’s gaze with a polite smile and a light shrug. “I’m usually free most nights after say eight o’clock. Or between classes and practice if you want to do it during the day? From around two thirty to four? Whatever works best? I’ll make the time.”
