fifty ways to kiss someone.
roll: 34,…to give up control.

If you asked him how he managed to find himself flipped over (or how anyone could be flipped over inside a freaking Prius and not break something–wow these cars really are roomier on the inside..) on his back with the leather squeaking against his shoes before he slammed both into the car door for footing, Blaine would..

Okay.Ā  Blaine wouldn’t be capable of answering a damn thing in his current situation.Ā  And the dumb-struck-in-love former Warbler couldn’t possibly be any happier about hisĀ ā€œpredicamentā€ either.Ā  Even if they’d broken new levels of sacrilege (seeing as how they were in a church parking lot in broad daylight)–Blaine was on cloud nine.Ā  Halo broken, possibly forever and still yet, doing mental cartwheels through the gates of heaven with one touch of panicked hands that seemed like they couldn’t get enough of him.

He wasn’t the first one to make the move.Ā  Kurt was.Ā  That fact alone made him drunk with happiness. As Blaine curled his fingers in the wisps of hair touching pale skin behind the shell of Kurt’s ear, body shifted closer to pull him back for a second kiss? Kurt’s fingers snatched his wrist and before he knew it, his arm was pinned behind his back.Ā  The familiar weight of Kurt’s body was pressed to his and with a lift and a half spin?Ā  He was on his back, lifting up to press their mouths together in a needful, desperate kiss that he’d been holding back indulging himself in again since, well, yesterday.Ā  But no one knew that part just yet.

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  A faint blush rapidly spread across the porcelain skinned male’s cheeks upon being on the receiving end of the stranger’s compliments, a distinct mixture of blue and green hues quick to gaze down at the animal displayed on his particularly bold choice of fashion.Ā Not often did a stranger randomly point out the state of his perfectly styled appearance unsolicited. Granted, the way he usually dressed ( and had done every waking momentĀ of his lifeĀ ) typically stemmed from mostly a matter of self expression. Vintage finds combined with some of the latest designers, a perk he had earned from his internship at Vogue as he was often rewarded with an early inside draft of the esteemed fashion magazine — the sentiment of being under the man’s now scrutinous gaze somewhat unnerving.Ā Ā

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  ā› It’s Burberry Prorsum, āœĀ  he breathed, his bright gaze still hopelessly scanning over their surroundings before a pair of deep blue eyes quickly managed to draw him back in —- the other male’s staresĀ positively quizzitive under the dim lights of the small cafe.Ā Ā ā› I guess itĀ isĀ pretty crowded. āœĀ  Judging by the significant lack in Blaine and particularly long line of customers growing increasingly larger by the counter, it probably seemed selfish to just be hogging the entire table. Introductions, though admirable, fallenĀ shortlived as the human’s attention diverted in an instant.Ā

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  ā› —BLAINE!Ā āœĀ Ā

His cordial smiles grew remarkably fonder as his friend ( though, in any case, fashionably late )Ā finally made an appearance.Ā Eyes once lost, now filled with intrigue, deeply engrossed and invested as the scene had rapidly changed its course and unfolded.Ā  ā› We actually only just started talking— āœ

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  ā› I’m Kurt— Kurt Hummel. What are the odds. āœ

image

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  it took everything in adam not to let the pleasant and polite expression fall into one of irritation. he’d felt blaine’s presence before he heard him, that was something he couldn’t mistake. despite looking like all of his attention was fixed on kurt, he was constantly scanning the area around them. blaine finding him there wasĀ his plan, but not so soon. not enough to drag kurt’s attention from him.Ā ā it’s lovely to see you again, blaine. it’s been quite some time, hasn’t it? āž adam replied, although his smile was more than a little forced while his voice remained pleasant. his attention returned to kurt, tilting his head slightly.Ā ā i was quite lucky enough to meet blaine’s acquaintance when i first came to the city from england. quite the serendipitous meeting. āž despite the length of time between him landing in the states and now, adam still had fond memories of discovering blaine. blaine had been his first real game; befriending him, charming him and ultimately protecting him. even if it hadn’t gone entirely to plan.

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā Ā ā almost like we’re just following each other. āž the joke was met with genuine amusement on his face, although his eyes returned back to blaine’s features with a slightly extended sense of humour. as far as they’d gotten from each other, it was inevitable that they would find one another again. eternity didn’t go by without at least someĀ of it spent in each other’s company. and considering he had put a lot into ensuring blaine’s survival, he wanted to make sure blaine wasn’t being reckless. especially acting like a human and befriendingĀ a decent meal.Ā ā how did you both meet? another new york coincidence?Ā āž

image

ā€Kurt!Ā  It’s great to see you.Ā  Sorry I kept you waiting.Ā  The subway was packed.ā€Ā  Or so he says but it was believable and far better than the real reason why.Ā  Ā Feeding before meeting Kurt was a necessity.Ā  One Blaine hated indulging in to the point he did each time he saw Kurt but it kept Kurt safe and him sated and warm and that’s what mattered..

Lovely to see him?Ā  Somehow, Blaine doubted that was the truth.Ā  Obviously, Adam was up to something.Ā  His lack of reaching out to Blaine whatsoever combined with making sure he’d be here on the evening when Kurt and he planned to meet up?Ā  Blaine made a mental note that his senses must be slipping.Ā  Believing this was all one just coincidence was naive beyond the meaning of the word.Ā  And Blaine liked to think of himself as not so naive anymore.Ā  Not how he was when he put faith and trust in the man he smiled at now.Ā  Man.Ā  Ha!Ā  Well.Ā  As far as Kurt knew, that’s what they both were.Ā  So, why not go with it and remain convincing. Adam better not screw this up.Ā Ā ā€œMm. Yes, I did.Ā  I had the pleasure of being Adam’s tour guide until he got settled in.Ā  How’ve you been?Ā  Other than following me around, like you said.ā€Ā  He grinned jokingly enough, a friendly banter between two people who knew one another and were catching up.

ā€œWe met after Kurt came into a place where I was playing.Ā  He was with a few friends and they were still there when I was finished.Ā  I couldn’t let the night go by without saying hello and the rest is history.ā€Ā  The where was left out but the means was true.Ā  Looking over at Kurt, the vampire smiled–brows lifted an inviting Kurt to add more to the conversation if he wanted.

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  It had all started with Pavarotti.Ā

A dead bird, gone much too soon.Ā Providing him with a proper sendoff had really only come natural to him.Ā The eery resemblance and instant reminder of his late mother’s funeral almost too close to comfort as he had spent his entire free afternoon decorating an old box of trinkets for the small creature. It was probably silly to get thisĀ emotionalĀ over the passing of a bird, but even if it was, Kurt had needed the closure. That little bird had represented everything Dalton stood for — someone he’d known ever since making the transfer to Dalton and a near always constant in his budding career as a Dalton Academy Warbler; The Beatles’ BlackbirdĀ a song only fitting and allowing him to mourn in the only way he knew how.

NeverĀ onceĀ had he imagined he would soon be full on making out with one Blaine Anderson in the midst of hot glue and glitter — heart fluttering wildly in his chest and hands grasping at foreign and unruly gelled curls as their mouths clashed together in unison.Ā Every possible sense in him heightened and the initial taste of boy and Blaine soon enough leaving him to grasp for air as Kurt allowed himself to get lost in the other Warbler’s close embrace.Ā A moment he had longed for and sought after for so long, his body had begun to ache and feel numb at the thought of it not being in the cards and just never happening. It felt exhilarating. The mere sensation of Blaine’s tongue tracing the contour of his lips enough to get his head spinning. A renewed sense of dizziness as need seeped deep into his bones, more than eager to comply and get it all out of his system.

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  ā› I can’t believe we’re finally doing this. āœ Ā The words sounded rushed, light as air. Hopeful. Any other sentence that might have followed silenced and replaced by haste, muffled kisses as Blaine’s mouth continued to move seamlessly against his own.

image

Blaine felt like he’d tumbled head over heels off the ledge of his cliff.Ā  Spinning out of control, dizzy inside his belly in the strangest sort of delight he’d ever known when all there should be was panic as the ground kept rising higher and higher.Ā  Surely, there was a risk of crashing and shattering every bone inside his body should Kurt stare at him like he’d rather run for the hills than have Blaine kiss him again.Ā  Blaine knew his story inside out now.Ā  God, the nerve it took to believe in this and them and chances.Ā  All of it was worth every scary step plastered over with a jittery confidence he’d taken to get to this point.Ā  Because Kurt caught him.Ā  With a palm against his cheek and a pale thumb grazing his ear, Blaine felt them both start to soar when he rose up for another deeper, more eager and self-assured Round Two.

Kurt’s forehead was warm and his skin was unbelievably soft as Blaine rested his against it.Ā  This was the beginning of something.Ā  Sure, they already had one.Ā  On the staircase when Kurt first grabbed his attention.Ā  Or maybe it was when they sat and talked over coffee after Kurt insisted upon changing out of his not so convincing and now extremely embarrassing ā€œspyā€ outfit.Ā  Thinking about it now?Ā  They sort of had about four beginnings since Blaine first laid eyes on the boy in front of him.Ā  It was like the universe was trying to kick some common sense into him to do it right and realize each time what he realized at last.Ā  Kurt was his and he was Kurt’s and sure this might’ve been only a kiss but it was not just the beginning of something.Ā  It was the beginning of them.

ā€œI’m only sorry I kept you waiting for so long.Ā  Thank you for not giving up,ā€ he whispered just a breath away from Kurt’s lips after coming up for air.Ā  Who knew falling could feel so good?

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Following the Warbler’s long trail of thought, the Cheerio’s brows arched before he was not so discreetly put back in his place by the other teenager; his countenance grown significantly more sour yet still practically unmoving as he desperately tried not to garner too much attention from the crowded table not too many steps removed from their position by the counter.Ā  ā› I think you’ll be more than happy to know you aren’t in fact the only boy I talk to, āœĀ  he spat through gritted teeth, an air of arrogance taking over.Ā  ā› Besides, this isn’t Gossip Girl. āœĀ Ā Kurt had to give the boy some credit. Not many of his fellow high school students had the guts for such public display of confrontation. Punishment usually fit the crime, and no matter just how much Coach Tenaka loved to promote a good old fashioned game of dodgeball, things didn’t usually tend to go in their favor.Ā

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  ā› You know my coffee order? āœ

image

Seeing that he was getting under Kurt’s skin by simply keeping up with him and not backing down filled Blaine with a sense of pride that the other would have no idea the root cause of.Ā  Kurt was nothing close to what he faced in his past.Ā  Because Kurt wasn’t like his bullies who shaped the rest of his high school years (turning out for the better but what a path to get there….) with their ignorance (and fists and feet).Ā  Kurt was as insecure as he could be and doing his best to fit in with his friends.Ā  It was sad, really.Ā  Because had Kurt chose a better group to surround himself with?Ā  Putting as much passion as he did in trying to make Blaine’s every visit to the Lima Bean miserable?Ā  He might be a person worth being around.Ā  Or..maybe just a good person.Ā  Instead of..this.Ā Ā ā€œJust the only boy every time I’m here.Ā  But, yes, Kurt.Ā  I’m happyĀ your outer circle may just be a little more well-rounded than your inner one.Ā  Gossip Girl?Ā  I don’t think I get the reference..ā€Ā  He blinked at the slip, only now seeing the error in rattling off his observation that he for some reason managed to commit to memory.Ā  ā€œOf course I do.ā€Ā  His brain raced to blurt the first thing that he could to negate any meaning behind it..

ā€œI’m sure anyone within two feet of you does with how snippily you bark it at the barista..ā€

ā› Probably should have gone with that fifty percent Gap discount. āœ

image

ā€œI know, I know.Ā  You say that now, but..Ā  I highly doubt what’shisname was going to let me experience the utterly blissful married life duty of helping you clean baby puke out of your hair.Ā  Are you sure that we don’t need to get an exorcist?Ā  I don’t think I’ve ever seen it go that high with that much force before..ā€

A brief cringey pause and Blaine tried to find his happy place all over again.

ā€œIt was like a fire hydrant of gross went off inside our daughter and somehow managed to hit you.Ā  Solely.Ā  With skill.Ā  You sure she isn’t mad at you?Ā  I think that might’ve been on purpose.ā€

you didn’t even say your name.

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā Arms still laced around the nape of the young actor’s neck, a boyish grin was quick to present itself on the couturier’s features, lips lipstick clad and gaze piercing, captivated under the red light of the Moulin Rouge. It had been an act of boredom —- mostly; his hands left to run through thick curls all the while teenage curiosity thickened. The significant amount of alcohol lingering on the handsome stranger’s breath almost sickening, turning his little conquest into one all too easy feat.

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā ā› —-Maybe you should stop talking. āœ Ā

image

Ā  Ā  Ā  Blaine’s tongue raced after the new flavor lingering on his lips.Ā  The anise of his drink mixed with lipstick and someone else was more intoxicating than the practically glowing green liquid coursing through his veins that landed him in a peculiar situation.Ā  Not that he was complaining.Ā  Not even slightly.Ā  After the music faded and the crowds dispersed, he’d found himself strewn out over a pile of discarded costumes behind a stage he had no idea he was still behind.Ā  A voice like an angel woke him up, gravity shifted as he was pulled upright with a groan.Ā  The prettiest pair of blue eyes met his and lured him into their depths so quickly that when their mouths crashed together after he felt like he’d spent an eternity staring into them silent and awestruck, Blaine hadn’t even let his own hazel eyes close.Ā  Then it was over and his heart was racing, breath in sharp clips that barely worked and his mind swimming from the nerve it’d taken him to just fall off the ledge of holding back

Embarrassed laughter and an averted gaze later, Blaine stuttered, ā€œS-Sorry. You’re right.Ā  I should,ā€ in agreement.Ā  Before he made an even bigger fool of himself.Ā  If possible.
