❥ Has someone ever ruined an FC or character for you?

I try not to hold FCs over a character because that’s sort of negating a potential partner for something you can ignore if the writing is amazing–imagination is great like that!  I came close, though. I adore Cillian Murphy to the point that I modeled a character after him in one of my books.  Someone who is very vicious and awful to people in an unmentioned community popped up using him a couple years ago and that one kinda killed my buzz a bit.  But I love the actor so much that I wouldn’t turn anyone away who plays someone with that FC.

✖ How has Tumblr RP changed since you started?

I know this is kind of hypocritical since I’m doing a salty meme but it seems like a lot of people have joined who are a whole lot more bitter and rude since I first came around?  So many people are quick to explode on someone.  Or call them abusive or toxic whenever it’s just an opposing opinion or someone they don’t like. Those are strong words to toss around and shouldn’t be used just to throw a tantrum and try to turn people against someone you dislike. Other than that?  I kinda keep to my own little world and try to surround myself with positivity so I keep enjoying this place.  If I can’t ignore what someone is doing, I unfollow.  Simple as that.

♒ Thoughts on the fandom you’re currently rping in?

I stick more to indie because–I know I see some people have awful experiences and maybe I’m just oblivious–the people I’ve met in the indie Glee community have been nothing but warm, welcoming and I’ve made some amazing friends here.  By far the best group of indie players I’ve ever met.  With the exception of maybe three people I’ve encountered out of many. As far as people in the Gleerpc?  I’ve noticed a great divide between the types of people I have encountered there.  I haven’t had much experience with them but I’ve seen either really great writers who become close to me or people I’d rather not be involved with.  At all. There seems to be no inbetween.

☯ Have you ever tried to bring peace to a situation?

Many times.  I’ve been the mediator for most fights around me both offline and online.  Or an ear to listen/shoulder to lean on to a lot of people who need it. I try to keep a calm perspective about most things–like everyone I have my limits–but it tends to let people know I’m here for them if they need someone to give advice.  Whether for themselves or to diffuse a situation.

☼ How long do you stay mad?

I usually get over being mad pretty quick.  Less than a day.  Sometimes even less than a few hours.  There are times where I reach my boiling point though.  I’m usually pushed there by people being outright disrespectful to me or people I care about.  Or just disrespectful in general.  Those people are usually just dropped from my radar because life’s too short for that.

☀ What’s your rp pet peeve?

I don’t have many.  I think the biggest I have is if you are giving your all to a thread and someone writes something–not even talking length here just emotion–so blank and empty that you question if they’re into it and wonder what you’re supposed to do.  If you are lacking feeling or excitement in a thread, you need to talk to your partner and see what you can do to spice things up.  Or start something new.  You should respect the other person’s efforts enough to try to work things out rather than post something that has them wondering if you even read their entry or were just going through the motions to get something out of your queue.

// Aww!  Okay.  I needed this to answer today so I’m gonna do that.

1. Putting all the windows down in my car at night and driving fast with some really good music on.  Cough Syrup by Darren is perfect for this, btw.  So is anything by Dave Matthews.
2. Being on the beach and dipping my toes in the water as it splashes around my feet.  
3. The sound of my dog’s growl when we’re play fighting.  She gets so into it and it’s so cute.
4. Clean sheets and blankets smell.  Plus that extra cold feeling you get when you slide into them and you end up chasing it with your legs all over the bed before it goes away.
5. Being in a place I’ve never been and wandering the streets to discover what I can find.  Love that feeling of being just a little bit lost and a whole lot curious.

☮ – if you could take on the appearance of your muse would you?
–Like permanently?  Well, Blaine does rock some serious bowtie game and I love me some bowties.  The skin tight pants would be difficult in the summer months!  My personal style is more Kurt Hummel meets Tina Cohen Chang’s goth days but if I could do the less gel in the hair Season 2 or 6 Blaine, had the voice and the ability to perform that went along with the package?  Yes, definitely.  Then it’d be off to Broadway because who wouldn’t?!

♧ – what fandom do you really want to join in the rp community? 
–American Horror Story.  There’s a plot in the works that I need to get into my verses and get the starters for but after networking with a couple of AHS players, that’s a thing you’re going to see here within the next day or two.  I’ve been in other fandoms on tumblr and there are reasons why I’m not anymore.  But from what I’ve seen in the AHS indie community?  They’re pretty awesome people and I miss writing horror.  So why not?!

Aww.  This came at perfect timing cause I needed a reminder of this right now!

1. My family.  Wife, nieces, nephew, and the rest of them.  Friends that are family, too. Because once you’re my friend?  That’s what you are.  Dog included.  She’s my best friend and my shadow and I love her.

2. Music.  I don’t think I could go without music.  It’s always playing.

3. Coffee.  It just brings me zen to have a cup of coffee.

4. Halloween.  I love, love, love Halloween.  From Haunted Houses to the decorations to the time of year and what that day has always felt like to me.

5. Road trips.  Going to somewhere exciting and breaking the daily grind to spend time with someone or multiple someones in our own little world on the highway.

1. What’s the last movie you saw?: I’m not even gonna let myself be ashamed over this!  Warcraft.  And dammit.  It was good!

2. Last song you listened to?: Being Alive by Chris Colfer is on right now.  Was Ghost Town by Adam Lambert while filling it out.  So..um.  Those two!

3. Last show you watched?: In The Flesh (BBC)

5. Last thing you ate?: Chicken Fajitas

6. If you could be anywhere else right now, where would you be?:  New York City or New Orleans listening to Blues with a Hurricane.  The drink not the storm.  Ha!!

7. What decade would you want to travel to?: I’d like to jump ahead like 50 decades and see what the world is like then.  If I had to pick one that already passed?  I think I’d like to go back to the 60′s, plop myself on Haight-Ashbury and live with the hippies.

8. If you won the lottery and got millions in cash, what would you do first?: I’d see how much I had to pay to get my father-in-law the care and service he needs that he’ll not have to worry about much until he gets a new kidney.

9. What fictional character would you hang out with for a day?: Lestat de Lioncourt. Chances are?  You’d end up a badass vampire and would get to go on some awesome adventures.  😀 Close runner up?  Genie from Aladdin so I could get three wishes and it’d be fun?!

10. What was the last fandom you joined?: Bates Motel.  I’m a late bloomer in that fandom.  But at least I’m here now!

☒ – A fact about the mun:  I took art lessons for many years and I’m a pretty good painter and pen and ink artist.  I work mainly with acrylics over watercolors but I won’t shy away from them.  I don’t like sharing my work online because it’s too personal and I’m very protective of it.

✗ – A ship I can’t stand: I’m pretty tolerant of most ships in the Glee Fandom.  I figure it’s all personal opinion.  If someone likes it and I don’t?  I don’t have to read it or trash them for doing it.  That said? There was one I really avoided mostly for personal reasons I’d discuss privately with anyone who asks if you’re really interested.  A certain someone, @bcingnicesucks​ –looking at you!, came along. Believe it or not?  That was once Seblaine and now I am total Seblaine trash to a laughable degree if you knew how much I avoided it before.  Ain’t that something!  Now I’ve met so many awesome people thanks to that ship, I’m so glad he opened my eyes towards it.

❣ – An unpopular opinion I have: I know so many people love/hate but mostly hate Glee for what it did to a lot of it’s characters.  Yeah, the show made some really dumb plotlines and mucked up a lot because of some poor writing but in the end?  I loved every season and found good in it even if I had to squint to see it sometimes.  So, I freaking loved Glee for Glee and the actors (most of them) in it.  It was the only show of it’s kind I stuck by and helped me through a lot so I guess I am more tolerant of the bad choices the writers made.  And it opened up my world to a ton of friends that I met through here.  Besides when it comes to what I didn’t like? That’s what fanfic, headcanons and roleplaying are for!  To “fix it” by doing it yourself.  It’s something I love doing.  Everyone’s entitled to their opinion.  You won’t find me dissing yours if you can’t stand it.  You do you.  I get why some people really didn’t dig it but I love the ending so many of the characters got and wished we would have had more scenes with the characters we saw from the beginning towards the end.  One or two character wrap ups, I was like eeeh!, but once again–you can fix that through writing so–yeah!  I loved Glee and I miss it sometimes.
