A slight mischievous grin quickly graced Kurt’s otherwise impeccably styled features. For someone so prim and proper, it really didn’t take much to see each and every single one of the Warbler’s gears running rampant. Maybe it had been the fact these little conversations took place every so often. Maybe, deep down, his ability to read the other boy like a book had left him curious, wondering, colored with intrigue how they had both ended up in such a place to begin with. A sense of familiarity, pettily disguised as pretty much any excuse to be able to interact with him — in spite of his own high school reputation.
❛ I have a boyfriend. ❜
Blaine noticed the grin and wasn’t particularly keen on the spike of intrigue it created. What was going on in the Cheerio’s head to make him form that sort of a smile? Preparing for the claws to come out, Blaine stood his ground more determined than ever to not let someone like Kurt Hummel to get under his skin. More than he already had.. Seeing Kurt enjoying himself brought a thoughtful pout to Blaine’s lips as he carefully planned his comeback. Although that blurt if information wasn’t exactly what he was prepared for. Both brows shot up and for only a blink or two, Blaine looked stunned. Boyfriend? Alright then.
“Um? Okay. I’m happy for you.” Leaning towards the boy, his smile was back (crooked but there) and his voice regained it’s same soft sincerity that everyone who knew him would come to expect. “I hope the two of you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day and he, you know, actually joins you here for a change?” Was Blaine Anderson just calling bullcrap? No! Not him! Never.
“Now if you’ll excuse me? I have some friends who are waiting.”
