Uh, yeah, okay. That wasn’t creepy at allllll to hear incoherent mumbling coming from the couch he just tiptoed past trying not to wake Finn up. It broke the quiet he was doing his best to keep with an odd string of barely audible words. Blaine wasn’t sure he could pick out a single English one in the bunch. All his efforts to keep quiet must have failed anyway. Judging that the boy strung out with limbs everywhere cracked one eye open in his direction.
Stepping backwards until he could lean against the doorframe between the kitchen and the living room and crossed his arms over his chest. One hand lifted a few inches to fan an ‘hello’ wave. Blaine kept his voice low as to not wake his boyfriend still sound asleep upstairs. “Um. Good morning to you, too, Finn. Sorry. I was trying to sneak to the kitchen. Kurt asked me over since your parents are in Washington.”
“I figured I’d surprise him with breakfast. Sorry if I woke you up.. Weird dream?” And then Blaine couldn’t hold back the chuckle that lit up his eyes. He watched the other boy joining the land of the living with a warm smile that stayed even after the laughter faded. “I think you might’ve just invented your own language a minute ago. Hope you’re hungry..“
