❛ Riiight. ❜  Hands were left to rest on red and white clad hips as Kurt briefly re-examined his competition. Getting the Warbler riled up had really only been part of the fun. Much as he despised being the one to have to point out the other male’s obvious flaws to him, there was something about the way Blaine tried to keep himself composed that proved at least somewhat entertaining between every interaction. Or at least while the rest of the squad appeared to be actively watching.

❛ You must not be getting an awful lot of action at Dalton. ❜

Why was Kurt so damn determined to make his life hell?  What had he done to get his attention in the first place?  Obviously, Kurt had his friends who were just as high maintenance and opinionated as he was.  You’d think that the Cheerio would be too busy with the drama in his own circle to even care about him long enough to start this..whatever this was.  Clearly, that was not the case.  Blaine cocked his head to the side as Kurt struck his pose, planting himself firmly in front of him.  Which happened to be between him and the rest of the Warblers, unfortunately. Yes, he could turn and take the long way there.  Yes, he could shut this down by backing off and leaving Kurt without another word.  Why didn’t he then…?  No.  He was an idiot and kept his own ground, refusing to be thought of as weak.  Again.

“That’s none of your business.  But.  I don’t see you here with anyone either.  As a matter of fact?  You’re never here with anyone other than them,” his chin ticked towards the table of girls behind Kurt.  “So.  If my life was as boring and actionless as you think?”  His nose curled and he leaned with a sardonic smile and cupped his hand near his mouth like he was keeping a secret between the two of them.  “I’m pretty sure that makes two of us..”  His pulse thundered in his ears and he was dizzy with the adrenaline rush of, finally, being sucked in enough to stoop to Kurt’s level.  “Doesn’t it?”
