Blaine returned Trent’s little wave as the last of the Warblers, who all but him recently dispersed from their usual table, stood up from his chair. He watched as his friend hurried off to go finish the last of his assignments before the weekend started, a pleasant smile met Trent’s back and then he was gone leaving him the sole person left at the only empty table inside Dalton’s cafe’. Lifting his coffee to take a sip, Blaine hummed at the taste as he flipped through the pages of sheet music they were bickering very passionately discussing for the better part of two hours. What song would be the start? The middle? The big, hopefully impressive ending? And why did they all but say they wanted him to pick? His cup was sat just within reach, teeth worrying against his bottom lip as a shadow caught his attention.
Glancing up at the tall boy, Blaine noticed he looked like he was trying to find a place to sit. Another cursory look over his shoulder at how many students were still milling about–the Warbler cleared his throat to get the boy’s attention. “Busy time to be here. Everyone’s getting their after class caffeine fix,” his smile was warm and open, “There’s plenty of room at this table. You can sit here if you want to…?”
