❝And I’d follow you anywhere just the same.❞ he replies, leading Blaine to the destination. Everything felt vastly unreal right now. Sebastian knew they were really here in Paris and he knew he was really leading his boyfriend out to in front of the Eiffel tower and on top of that he was really about to ask the biggest question of their relationship yet. Not only that, but the biggest question of Sebastian’s life in general. Their relationship meant everything to him. It was the essence and key to a happiness he once found and now every touch was a reminder he had found his safe place. No matter where they were or where they went, Blaine was his home. The guy with the hazel eyes and smile like the sun had fixed up Sebastian who had once spent his life living in the darkness. They fixed each other. Sebastian embraced every dark corner of Blaine’s mind and reassured him that together they accepted each others light and dark. They were the sun and the moon. The moon always comes out and shines its light and sometimes the sun hides away in the dark. But the sun still always comes back up eventually and warms the world. Perhaps they were each other’s sun. If Sebastian knew one thing about his life it is that ever since Blaine Anderson came into it it’s never been the same. It never had to be the same. Blaine had taught him what the word love meant. Loving his other half lead to loving the act of living itself. As if a new path in the road of life had been opened the minute he could call Blaine his. All his.

Their hands fit perfectly with one another (fingers and a touch created to hold the others) as Sebastian lead them out of the restaurant. Outside was a little walk on a stone pathway near some grass and a small clear, blue body of water that reflected the moon’s cast quite beautifully. As they made their way down that walkway and took their time doing so, finally they came to end up right in front of the Eiffel tower. Sebastian stopped and held onto both of Blaine’s hands now. A thumb rubbed lovingly against his right palm. They were facing each other now, looking into each others eyes. ❝Isn’t the Eiffel tower amazing when you get so close to it..?

You look so beautiful under the moonlight. Even more beautiful than the Eiffel tower. You know that?❞ From his olive skin to lips so kissable, Sebastian was always so shocked with how handsomely stunning his love bug was. ❝Seven years ago when I met you? I would of never pictured us here right now. The concept that you’d be mine? Was such a fantasy kind of concept, but something told me to never give up on it.❞ he smiles wide, looking down for a moment to let out a deep breath. Green orbs shift back up to look into the beautiful view that was Blaine’s eyes. The box with the ring was right inside his pocket, it was just a matter of the perfect timing.

Sebastian is warm as they walk along the cobblestone walkway.  Their fingers sink deeper into each others as Blaine wiggles his in until the hollow dips between their lengths touch and their palms become inseparable. Resting the side of his head against Sebastian’s shoulder–soft hazel eyes flicker his gaze from the reflection of the lights in the water, to the lamp posts and even the sky.  It’s beautiful.  Overwhelming. Something he could stare at forever and never have enough time to take in even then.  Just like Sebastian who Blaine turns his head and breaks his attention away from absorbing their surroundings to press a kiss against the side of Sebastian’s neck. Then back to letting his boyfriend lead him blindly forward because his attention is so wrapped up in seeing everything he could possibly see.  “I love it here,” he whispers somewhat to himself, somewhat to Sebastian.  A far off, distant tone of someone so enraptured with what they’re doing that they don’t realize their speaking their thoughts until they hear their voice.  “And I love you,” he adds in now that he’s tuned into the fact he’s thinking out loud.  “If this New York thing,” he grins, “doesn’t work out.  We’re moving here.”  A woman standing along the river with her arms wrapped around her boyfriend’s shoulder catches his eye and she smiles knowingly. Two people in love in a city that lives and breathes it to those who come here for that reason? How could they not beam at each other for the common bond of being right here.  In this moment. Right now.  With the loves of their lives.  Who else got what that felt like unless they were feeling it?  Blaine smiles back, his head moves against Sebastian’s shoulder as he nods to her but he doesn’t lift it all the way.

Not until Sebastian brings them to a stop and moves to stand in front of him.  Blaine glances up at him confused, to the Tower when Sebastian points out how lovely it is.  “I–,” then he has to stop and hang his head forward because Sebastian’s once again flattering him so much he can’t meet his eyes without a cheeky, stupefied grin.  No worries.  It’s still there when their eyes meet again anyway.  His brows shove together and his hands squeeze Sebastian’s, his skin still dancing with the caress to his palm from Sebastian’s thumb.  Blaine goes to–as usual–give the compliment back in his own words.  But Sebastian doesn’t give him enough of a pause to speak up and Blaine’s heart melts even more at what he hears.  “Sebastian,” he has to interject.  “I’m so glad you never gave up on me.  You had every right to.  God knows,” he huffs and rolls his eyes, “That I didn’t make things easy for you.  I’m just–I’m so glad you waited for me.  You get me. You always have and seven years–can you believe it?  Seven years and you still fascinate and make me as shook as you did the day we met,” he ducks down as Sebastian tucks his chin towards his collar refusing to let their gazes break apart.  “So..  Thank you.  Okay?  For being you and loving me.  Even parts of me I couldn’t and struggle with now..you have and do and–just–thank you.”
