Jeff smiled at the way the boy tripped over his words. Jeff turned towards his dresser and grabbed boxers and slipped them on tossing the towel on his bed and pulling out a pair of jeans and calling out once they were on his body “You can turn around now Blaine.” He paused a moment before adding “I’m Jeffery Sterling, most people call me Jeff or Jeffy or hey you blonde” He laughed at the last one remembering when David couldn’t remember his name so he just shouted across the quad and Jeff instantly had turned around.

Pulling out a shirt from one of the drawers of his dresser he turned around to face the new kid and smiled “A few of us are going to con one of the seniors into go getting pizza with us you should come with give you a chance to meet some students and relax a bit new school, new people gotta be overwhelming for you” He offered to the kid his eyes taking in the boys whole appearance and he wondered why the boy was transferring now and what his story was.

Blaine stayed put–facing the opposite direction so steadily that his stare could have easily bored a hole through the door if it got any more focused on the knots in the polished texture.  This was so awkward?  Wasn’t it?  Or was that just him?  Jeffery telling him he could turn around took a couple seconds to sink in. “Oh. Sure. Thanks,” Blaine pivoted back and smiled.  One that turned slightly embarrassed as he suddenly remembered the still fading black and blue mark underneath his eye when their eyes met for the first time that didn’t end in an about face half a second later. Did he look like some deviant put here by rich parents who didn’t want him to end up in juvenile detention?  God he hoped not.

“It’s nice to meet you, Jeff.”  Making sure not to watch him too long seeing as how he was shirtless–Blaine found a spot just past him to watch instead as he got dressed.  Pizza?  He was inviting him out for pizza?  He blinked–shooting a glance back at the blonde. “That?  That’d be great!”  His heart leapt at the idea and he might’ve answered a little overly eager but he didn’t particularly notice.  “Overwhelming is a good word for it but I’m really glad to be here.  This school is beautiful from what I’ve seen and I’ve heard nothing but amazing things. Everyone’s been so nice..including you so.. Sorry,” he cringed, “didn’t mean to start gushing..”
